EII Fellowships for PhD Students
What are EII Fellowships?
EII Fellowships provide opportunities for outstanding PhD student to undertake collaboration in a team of world-class researchers within an industry environment or at a different university. EII Fellowships expand and strengthen research scope and experience, as well as broaden research contacts for PhD students. EII Fellowships are available via 17 Australian universities, the CSIRO ICT Centre and the National ICT Australia [NICTA], and incorporate the Microsoft Research Asia [MSRA] Internship and the SAP Research CEC Brisbane Visitorship schemes.
What do EII Fellowships provide?
Travel support and a living allowance for research visits of a few days up to 6 months.
Who is eligible?
Generally, PhD students enrolled at EII member universities. However, please check eligibility criteria within the specific programs.
How the EII Fellowship Scheme is Funded.
This initiative is supported under the Australian Research Council's [ARC] Research Networks scheme. EII is funded from the ARC in conjunction with funding provided by 21 institutions.
