                      CALL FOR PAPERS

Scope

The I3E 2011 conference is the eleventh  IFIP conference on e-Business, e-Services, and
e-Society  sponsored  by  IFIP  WG 6.11 in  cooperation  with  TC11 and TC8. It will be
hosted in Kaunas, Lithuania.
I3E  provides  a forum for users, engineers, and  scientists in academia, industry, and
government to present their latest  findings in e-business,  e-services,  and e-society
applications and the underlying technology to support those applications. The 
conference will  host  keynotes  as well as  regular  paper sessions comprising research
 track and industrial and administration track.
Areas  of  particular  interest  for the  regular  paper sessions  include but  are  not

Submission of Papers

For  the  research  track, submissions should describe original research work. For the
industrial  and  administration   track,   submissions   should  describe   innovative
products or good practices. Submissions will be judged for scientific quality and  for
suitability as a basis for broader discussion. All submitted papers must be previously
unpublished  and may  not be considered  for publication  elsewhere at any time during
I3E's review period.
The  proceedings  of  the c onference  will  be  published by Springer within the IFIP
Advances in Information and Communication Technology (AICT) book series. The IFIP AICT
series is registered  with both SCOPUS and ISI Web of Science.  The paper should be no
longer than 12 pages and prepared according to the guidelines of the IFIP AICT series.

Submissions which deviate from the AICT guidelines  may be  rejected  without  review.
Authors  of all a ccepted  papers  are required  to send  a signed  copyright form  as
required by The International Federation for Information Processing.
The submission of papers will be handled electronically through the I3E 2011  web site
at: http://isd.ktu.lt/I3E2011.   For  submitting a  paper, please  use  a menu section
"Authors"  at  the top  of this site. Please, read an instruction for submission (menu
section "Authors/Instruction").
One of the authors of each accepted  paper will have to register and present the paper
at the conference.
