Objectives

The School is targeted at research students as well as postdoctoral/early career researchers [ECRs] interested in exploring current topics in the areas of Strategic & Secure Systems in Organizations, Data Management for Mobile Services as well as an overview of foundational skills in Evaluation in IT Research. The series of EII Schools brings PhD students and ECRs together with experienced researchers from top institutions across the EII network to enhance and invigorate their research education, and to improve their depth of understanding of emerging and fundamental topics in ICT. The Schools offer an opportunity for PhD students and ECRs to share and discuss their research with peers and mentors, and to start developing ideas & concepts into research papers for submission to major international journals and conferences. The experience will also advance the development and raise the standard of the students’ dissertations and research publications in general.
